Paquets texlive

Je viens le lancer une m-à-j de Leap 15.6 et celle-ci me propose brusquement une m-à-j de 2708 paquets texlive. Quel programme serait susceptible d'utiliser Latex afin que je puisse le désinstaller ? Pour l'instant je n'ai pas accepté.

- soit un logiciel de traitement de texte (texmaker, lyx, texworks, ...)
- soit un logiciel pour l'écriture de partitions musicales (lillypond)
- soit un logiciel d'éditions de formules mathématiques...

Je n'avais rien installé de tout ça. Mais j'étais passé par zypper up et en essayant pour vérification avec Yast je me suis aperçu qu'il avait un correctif de sécurité pour texlive et c'est lui qui avait causé cette proposition d'installation des 2708 paquets tex. Je l'ai supprimé et en même les quelque paquets tex qui venaient de je ne sais où.

Pour savoir quel paquet demande texlive en recommandé, tu peux faire

zypper se --recommends-pkg texlive
dans la liste qui s'affiche, tu cherches le ou les paquets avec le drapeau i ou i+
Chez moi, c'est le logiciel qui demande cette installation. J'ai bloqué texlive.

Cela fait un bout de temps qu'a chaque MàJ , j'ai des paquets " texlive " je ne savais d'où ça venait ,ni à quoi ça servait
Merci Chalu pour cette ligne de commande , voici le résultat pour moi , en parties , vu le nombre de lignes ,je ne vais en mettre que des morceaux  afin de savoir sui je peux bloquer ou supprimer " texlive " ,ça prend de la place

Tu n’as pas de drapeau i ou i+ dans la première colonne dans le retour que tu as mis sur le forum, c’est surprenant. Normalement le paquet qui appelle texlive lors de certaines majs devraient être indiqué par i ou i+ dans la première colonne.

Tu as aussi la commande pour les dépendances avec le même principe du I ou I+ dans la première colonne pour trouver le responsable.

@chalu : il est possible que le paquet en question ait été supprimé sans pour autant supprimer ses dépendances. Je pense notamment à xournal qui a eu une fâcheuse tendance à parfois faire partie de l'installation de base selon la pattern choisie.

tu peux envoyer le résultat dans un fichier texte que tu ouvriras ensuite avec kate par exemple sur KDE.
Tu fais la commande en utilisateur et tu trouveras le fichier dans ton home

Tu pourras faire défiler la liste et voir la ligne qui commence avec i ou i+

@oh!rocks : xournal ne semble pas installé sur son PC, c'est lui qui provoque la demande d'installation de texlive chez moi. J'ai eu du mal à trouver que c'était lui qui provoquait ça.
Après on peut peut-être imaginer un paquet qui demande en recommandé un autre paquet texlive-qqchose qui lui même demande texlive ?

Je suppose que sur mon pc,  les 4 ou 5 paquets texlive qui n'avaient pas été supprimés sont la cause de cette m-à-j. Je me souviens qu'il y deux ou trois ans j'avais installé puis supprimé xournal ainsi que les paquets texlive. Certains ont dû passer à l'as. Ce qui m'étonne, c'est que depuis, il n'y avait jamais eu de m-à-j. ni de proposition d'installation de la totalité des paquets.

Je viens d'effectuer les recherches , en premier avec

zypper search texlive
en principe lorsque l'on fait une recherche  la réponse affiche les paquets installés , mais là , comme pour la commande

zypper se --requires-pkg texlive
la liste est tellement longue que je n'arrive pas à revenir au début , donc savoir ce qu'il y a d'installé
Je suis donc passé par Yast , et là , aucun paquets texlive n'est coché , donc rien d'installé
J'ai récupéré les deux réponses aux commandes , pour " requires" j'ai 4700 lignes , aucune avec l'un ou l'autre drapeau (i ou i+ )donc je m' abstiens de les mettre ici
Pour " recommends " 166 lignes  , pas de présence de " i" ou "i+" en première colonne
Mais ,je suis sur une installation récente , quelques semaines et je me demande si les MàJ " texlive " ne sont pas sur l'autre disque avec une installation plus ancienne (+ de  2 ans )
Je vais repassé sur l'autre disque et refaire toutes les commandes , et viendrai te donner les résultats

de retour , et là , ce n'est pas pareil
Je ne te donne pas les dépendances , 4744 paquets exactement , et au moins la moitié avec un " i "
Pour  " recommends " , 164 paquets , et presque tous  avec le drapeau " i "
Dans cette liste , à part " python " je ne connais rien des autres
Je te la joint , prends ton temps , si possible , j'aimerais faire le grand ménage de tous ces " trucs " , déjà , " babel " je ne sais pas d'où ça vient .
Je ne sais pas si je peux continuer sur le fil de Sobkowiak , il a passé son fil en résolu  et je ne voudrais pas taper l'incruste
Dis moi si je dois ouvrir un autre fil

as tu aussi des paquets avec i ou i+ dans le retour avec requires ? si c’est oui, tu ne peux pas te passer de texlive.
Babel c’est pour les langues dans texlive et ça peu être utilisé par d’autres paquets aussi.
Pour les dépendances, as tu le paquet texlive installé et les autres paquets ont-ils texlive dans le noms ?

@jenrem franchement tu peux tout virer. Fait juste gaffe aux messages d'avertissement (que tu pourras poster ici, en cas de doute).

Pour faire au mieux (question lisibilité et temps de réaction), passe par YaST et n'oublie pas au préalable de cocher la case Options > Nettoyer lors de la suppression de paquet.
